Steve brings over 30 years of experience as a Financial Professional and a Managing Principal on the Trek Financial team. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 1991. Steve utilizes a team approach when providing comprehensive financial planning services and has particular experience in retirement income, investment portfolio management and estate planning strategies.
Steve and his wife Kathy have been married for over 30 years and have three wonderful children and four grandchildren. They currently reside in Mesa, Arizona.
Priscilla joined Trek in 1997. Priscilla is an integral part of the advisory team whose primary role is to assist with client service and help ensure a seamless client experience. She provides superior service by acting as a liaison between the client and advisor, performing administrative portfolio activities and helping clients with their day to day needs. Priscilla has the ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
What do you enjoy most about being a part of Trek?
The most fulfilling part of my job at Trek is the relationships that I form with our clients. I enjoy meeting new people and being part of a team that can help them with their current financial situation/needs/goals.
What does “improving the quality of our clients’ lives” mean to you?
It’s important to me that we set our clients up for success while helping them invest in their future.
What keeps you busy when you’re not working?
On the weekends, I enjoy going to local farmers markets. I love experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and spending time with my four children and husband.
Kim joined Trek in 2017. Kim provides high-level support to the advisory team by conducting research, handling information request and correspondence. Kim’s responsible for our electronic document management system and support for our internal compliance program. Kim is highly organized and strives to make a positive impact.
What do you enjoy most about being a part of Trek?
I enjoy being a part of a strong team. Everyone here brings a special talent to the table that makes the company what it is today.

It feels good to know you have contributed in some way to make a difference.
What keeps you busy when you’re not working?
I enjoy reading, going to the beach and running. I love trying out new restaurants and traveling with my family.
Chris graduated in 2018 with a degree in Finance from Utah Tech University. Chris helps Steve provide individualized planning and investment services for clients. He enjoys learning every day from someone with over 30 years of experience in the financial planning industry.
What do you enjoy most about being a part of Trek?
I enjoy helping clients map out their future and love when they see that their financial goals are achievable. It is also a blessing to have a supportive team around.

Life can be full of stress and looking into a financially stable future can be daunting. It is my goal for every client to put their mind at ease by working together to achieve success. Life is meant to be enjoyed.
What keeps you busy when you’re not working?
Getting outdoors, exploring new places, and experiencing the beauty that the world has to offer.
Kelsey joined Trek in 2022 as a client services associate. Her main responsibilities include scheduling client reviews and assisting clients with opening new accounts. She was an elementary school teacher until she decided to find a part-time job. During her time as a teacher, she developed strengths in organization, creativity, time-management, and patience. She hopes to bring these strengths to her job in Trek and continue developing more. Kelsey enjoys chatting with clients as she helps them schedule meetings and getting to know their unique life stories.
What do you enjoy most about being a part of Trek?
I love learning so it has been enjoyable to learn all the ins and outs of the financial world as I sit in on client meetings and assist the advisors with different tasks. I also enjoy working in a team with Priscilla and Kim as we spending time thinking about clients and how to help them.
What does “improving the quality of our clients’ lives” mean to you?
Life is hard enough as it is. If this is one part of their life that I can make things as easy as possible for them, then I’m happy to be a part of that.
What keeps you busy when you’re not working?
I have two small children who I adore spending time with. My husband and I like to take them on adventures. We love to explore the mountains and lakes near our home, travel, and swim.
